Injuries mount and the defense laid an egg to a Rookie on the road. Don’t know if the D just overlooked the fact that Will Levis was making his first start but they picked a fine time to lay an egg. That fact gets compounded by Ridder turning the ball over yet again and then getting sacked 5 times in a half. Heinicke took over in the second half due to Ridder getting checked out and cleared for a concussion. Tyler played well and not the fans are talking.

Falcons make history for the wrong reason and still win the game. Turning the ball over in the redzone 3 times tends to end up with a loss. But another game winning drive and kick by Koo puts the Falcons in the win column. The Defense continues to be a top 10 unit which is such a breath of fresh air.

The Jags improved to 5-5 all time in London at the expense of the Atlanta Falcons. All the good of a 2-0 start has evaporated in the wake of 2 straight loses. The play calling has looked bad and the QB play has looked worse. The only bright spot to this point of the season is the Defense. They have given up less than 20 points a game the last 2 games unfortunately the other side of the ball has come unglued

Not at the friendly confines of MBS the Falcons look like a different team. One that couldn’t get any offense going at all. Desmond Ridder ran for his life most of the day and still got sacked 7 times. It hasn't been pretty the last two weeks for the Atlanta Falcons. But they've found a way to get to 2-0 for the 1st time since 2017. The Falcons still have work to do, but until then. What they've shown so far is an aggressive approach to win at all cost. The defense gets more aggressive getting to the QB when they need it the most.

They now will go to face the Detroit Lions looking for their 3rd win on the road. The Lions are stacked with talent and will be looking to avoid a 1-2 start after a great week one win of the Superbowl champions on the opening game of the season verses the Kansas City Chiefs

After going 0-2 the first 2 seasons during their home openers week 1 under HC/OC Arthur Smith. The Atlanta Falcons were determined not to go 0-3. And new comer star safety Jesse Bates made sure his role in that was felt.

2 ints and 1 fumble in his first game as a Falcons player. RBs Tyler Allgeier showed that his 1000 yard season in 2022 was no fluke with almost a 100 yard day and 2 touchdowns. Rookie Bijan Robinson would add his contribution too with a screen pass taken in for a touchdown. While breaking 3 tackles on his way to the endzone.

There were some ugly moments, buy the Falcons were able to survive those moments. They got the win, but they will need to clean up some things if they are to beat the better teams later on down the road. Until then a win is a win.
