This conversation is SO SPECIAL to me! Oh gosh. We talked about a "fresh expression of Christ", with Dinner Church, which completely blew my mind! We talked about discipleship, which is something I am SO passionate about, and we talked about how to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus and keep our hearts pure in the midst of distractions and craziness. This week I just felt like I needed to take a few minutes and share my heart with you all. I recorded it first thing in the morning over my first cup of coffee for the day, and pretended you were sitting here with me. It's not a long episode, but I pray you are encouraged through it, and reminded that in all things, there's always hope.

Do you ever meet someone and think, "There's something SO special about them!"? That's how I felt when I met Izzie a few months ago. Oh my goodness, she is THE sweetest! I have chatted with her a bit at the coffee shop and around town at girls' nights and things, but this was the first time I really had the opportunity to talk and hear her heart and wow...I was completely blown away! The way the Lord has led her to serve in such beautiful ways in Turkey is absolutely incredible. She will be going back in August, and I will keep you all updated on how we can best help her along the way. Listen, be encouraged, and pray about how you can support her!

Today's conversation with my friend Denise is SO special to me. It went in a direction that I didn't quite expect...and I LOVED it!!! Gosh. Her heart for the Lord and His people is amazingly beautiful. I loved hearing about trips she's been on, and how the Lord changed her heart to bring that same servant-mentality to her back yard and helped her to start serving here. What a beautiful reminder that our desires are His desires for us first. This one blessed me and encouraged me and inspired me to get out and see how I can better serve the people around me. GUESS WHAT?! Today, my podcast hit over 5k plays!!! That may not seem like a big deal to you, but for someone who is just starting out with this thing, it's HUGE and I am EXCITED!!! To celebrate, I'm sharing a conversation from April 2022 with my husband, Randray. This was a very off the cuff, spontaneous conversation, that took place while we were playing around with learning how to record a podcast. Randray is and has always been my biggest fan, and he sat down that night and said, "ok let's try this thing." And so we did.
