Meet Yuna & Renn. You might recognise them from our new International Women’s Day campaign video – or maybe you’ve already caught their “scandalously sexy” Lustery debut… Hailing from Marseilles, Yuna and Renn first met at a gig where Yuna developed an instantaneous (and understandable) crush watching Renn perform on-stage with her band. Mutual friends introduced the two and you could say it’s been “happily ever after” since but these Lustery newcomers aren’t the type to do anything by the book.

Having just celebrated an International Women’s Day that spread to message #ChooseToChallenge, Lustery gets into bed with the gorgeous pair to hear about how they’re defying relationship conventions, what an open relationship means to them and how choosing not to be dependent on each other for sex or affection has, paradoxically, brought them closer…

On December 4th, 2020, The New York Times published an article by Nicholas Kristof titled ‘The Children of Pornhub’. Kristof claims the platform is “infested with rape videos” and derides it for monetizing abusive content. He calls for Canada’s authorities to investigate the case, and for major payment providers like Visa and Mastercard to review their collaboration with the platform.

The article incited public uproar, and triggered a series of events that could impact the adult industry, and also wider legislation around content moderation online, in a way that would change the internet as we know it.

How has a problem regarding content moderation become a case against the adult industry? Who is behind this narrative? Why is one of the lawyers that defended Trump during his first impeachment trial defending a victim of sexual assault and exploiting her case to call for Pornhub’s shutdown? On the POV podcast, we spoke to some of the platform’s top content creators to get their take, as well as Gustavo Turner, news editor at Xbiz, to understand how this case is yet another action in the war on porn - a crusade by various special interest groups to restrict free speech and regulate the internet.

How are your kinks today? Kink? Our POV podcast guest and self-proclaimed sexual geek Caritia brings us the etymology of the word to contextualize. She understands kink to be “the opportunity to explore sexuality without normative constraints”. Caritia is part of the Berlin-based queer collaborative art space Karada, that explores the boundaries of body, art and the multitude of interactions between them. They recently launched OHYESPLEASE, a platform that provides playful, sexual, diverse, gender-inclusive, shame and blame-free kink education. We spoke to her about her journey, her work, and the wide horizons that the world of kink can open to us all.

Caritia is a Berlin-based professional Dominatrix, BDSM Practitioner and conscious kink educator. As an artist, Caritia has worked in a number of pieces, arranging from conceptual, theatre, dance and voice, in the mediums of film and photography both in front and behind the camera and with performance art. Caritia’s work includes coaching, creating and running her own unique workshops and sessions for individuals, couples and groups.
