When I decided to pursue my writing career, I knew of no other author who could guide me through the process. Those I expressed my aspirations with looked at me with disbelief. Although they may not have openly questioned my goals, I knew that in the back of their minds, they questioned my success. It was the kind of skepticism that whispered, “Oh yeah, we’ve heard that before!” But I never allowed their disbelief to influence the direction I believed God was taking me.

I wasn’t sure where I was going or even how to begin such a journey, but one thing I knew for sure was that I believed in God. I had absolute confidence in Him and I knew that if God had put the desire to write within me, He would definitely give me whatever tools necessary to fulfill His will. With eleven books added to my library, I now focus on coaching authors and assisting them on how to unlock and expand their creative thinking and creativity. As a creative coach, my clients will learn how to tap into the creativity that is already inside them.

Debbi Sluys founder of Dare to Declare is a coach, trainer, and speaker who specializes in helping people expand their brain’s potential to see what is possible for their future with Vision boards. As a former Child Care Director, Debbi has studied personal development for over 30 years and has facilitated and witnessed science at work by guiding over a thousand clients to identify and declare their Vision both online and in-person in her Dare to DeclareTM studio. Debbi has been featured on the High-Performing Coach podcast and interviewed by Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul) for his Success TV. She lives in Chatham Ontario, Canada.

Rev. E. Baker Sr. is a professional Gospel Singer and a minister. A native of Gilbert, Louisiana, was born Nov 12, 1937, to Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Baker. He was raised in a rural, tight knit community with a population barely over 500 people. Rev. Elijah Baker Sr. was raised by both parents, alongside 7 siblings and has always bared witness to hard work and ambition in the ministry of singing. Growing up, he didn’t intend to go into stardom, but his peers always recognized his natural gift of singing and vibrant energy he brought to the stage.
Rev. Baker moved to Oakland, Ca. in 1968 to start his quartet group called in the Corinthians. After much encouragement from his family and community, he became a minister in 1987 at the Joy Baptist Church and that is where Stars of Joy Male Chorus was established. There were rave performances at countless shows in the Bay area.
With intentions to advance his career and ministry, 2016 worked with his namesake Elijah Baker Jr., Eric Kenya Baker, Raphael Saadiq, Jubu Smith, Carl Wheeler, Billy Kemp, and Timothy Calloway. These names are from the famous group Tony Toni Tone. Title songs such as “Separate Me from His Love”, “Never Had It” featuring Raphael Saadiq, and “Right Road Now” have made him a popular name on the circuit and garnering bookings. Through his ministry, gospel tracks, and viral moments on social media, Rev. Baker Sr. built a loyal fanbase of followers on all platforms. He has become a favorite with major mainstream radio stations all over the world.

Elder David & Shelia Turner are founders of By Faith Not Sight, 501c3 Nonprofit Organization. They reside in Grand Prairie, TX and have been married to 31 years. They are the parents of 2 sons, Tre’ & Xavier and has a 5-year-old granddaughter, X’Mauri.
They are leaders of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry and leaders of the Youth Ministry at their local church, Antioch Christian Church, Irving, TX. Pastors Norris & Tonya McGill.
David is an ordain Elder and is also a part of the Music Ministry at their local church and is very active with the Men’s Ministry, Men of Integrity.
Shelia is an author of her recent book, Daily Dose of Directions for Women in Business II. She also sits on the board of uwonte’savior 501c3 Nonprofit Organization and is very active with the Women Ministry, Phenomenal Women.
In 2013, David lost his sight due to diabetes and developed a disease called Gastroparesis. This disease has kept him in and out of the hospital for 9 years.
This couple loves God, and they love people.
Regardless of the setbacks and obstacles that have come their way, they still find time to encourage, support and inspire others.
They want everyone to know that no matter what you may go through in life, God is always there with you, and he said he will Never leave us nor forsake us.
