GOD hear our cry tonight; we connect our faith tonight and we put our finances for our cities in the Hand of GOD, because we know that if the finances are in Your hands, our finances will thrive.

We present our finances before You—we need a financial miracle in our lives. We need an overflow of money in our cities—we bind the hand of the adversary that has established a financial drought in our cities. We pray increase in our wealth and a decrease in losses.

GOD some of us are in debt just trying to feed and take care of our families with the necessities—we pray against financial oppression and declare financial prosperity. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit in the steps we need to take for financial freedom.

Lord, Jesus, we bless Your Name. We pray tonight that we will not get weary in doing good; for we know that in due season they will reap all the things they strive for. Your word says that You will give us the desires of our hearts.

So much is going on in our cities that brings on worry, fear, anxiety and panic. It has caused sicknesses to show up in our communities in the worse way. Lack of finances, food, medical attention and other lack of resources has caused worry and fear to take up residence in our lives and in our homes.

GOD, help us not to become frustrated and impatient in Your will.

Tonight, we surrender our relationships unto to GOD that He may sanctify them. Friends, families, intimate, working and spiritual relationships. We surrender them tonight. We need GOD to transform us in our relationships so that we may bring honor to His Name.

GOD, some of us are struggling in our relationships. We need You to give us wisdom on how to love those around us with the love of Christ. You are our shield and defender. Show us how, when and where to erect boundaries in our relationship.

GOD you are our healer and we trust you to guard our hearts and mind. We need Your specific directions on how to interact with our friends, coworkers, families, our significant others, our neighbors and mentors. Our pastors and community leaders—show us how to interact with our city officials and our law enforcement—show us how to interact with our police officers who are here in our cities to protect and serve us. Give us directions Lord.

Prayer For Our Cities ~ Demonic Entry Points into Our Cities ~ Demonic Access

I need you to come with your faith tonight and assist me in closing the demonic entry points into our cities.

We prepare ourselves to fight evil with the weapons that belong to the light. Tonight, we recognize that our are weapons of warfare are not carnal, but mighty in GOD for pulling down strongholds—to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow and to build and plant.

We don’t know how to navigate our way through bruised and broken trust for our community leaders, city officials nor one another.

GOD, Suspicion has become our daily bread—withdrawal is our natural feeling and skepticism has become our constant companion. Some of us are humbled and hurting from trusting too much in “horses, chariots and horsemen.”

The adversary relishes these moments and season of distrust among your people. The enemy has fertilized the roots of bitterness—waters the sprouts of self-righteousness; he prunes the trees of ugliness; and relishes in the fruit of dissension and disunity.

Too often we forget the ways of Your Word and are not sensitive to the devil’s schemes.

Pour out Your Spirit upon every community leader and city officials—Anoint them afresh to be worthy of trust, dependable, upstanding, sincere, genuine and able to be relied on to do what is right for our communities, cities and the people that dwell in them.

Prayer For Our City

Policemen and Law Enforcement Officers

GOD we are blessed to have men and women who work diligently for our safety and wellbeing. Their jobs are difficult and often thankless. Help us to remember to say thank you for their sacrifice and serve to protect and serve our communities.

GOD, our Shephard, who tenderly leads us, loves us and keep us safe. We are crying out to you to cover our police officers and law enforcement officers under your precious blood who put their lives on the line for other daily in our cities.

Single Mothers and Fathers

Our prayer tonight is for the single parents in our cities and the burdens they carry.

Too often children are seen as liabilities rather and assets.

Some view children as a distraction or nuisance instead of seeing them as an opportunity to shape the future.

Some may even treat their children as an inconvenience when GOD values them so highly.

Because children are GOD’S best gift, we pray that GOD unlocks and release His Wisdom unto every single mother and father and may they apply and appropriate His wisdom with love, with joy, with kindness, with peace, and with His strength.

We pray that GOD bring healing to their heart and the situations that surrounds them and their children.

We want to pray that their relationship grows stronger in GOD and they worship YOU in Spirit and in Truth.

Prayers on Faith, Hope and Life

Lord,

We lift up our voices and our spirits to break the silence that often happens when we are confronted with mental illness. We name the un-named experiences which comes to those who live with a mental illness such as major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, schizophrenia and eating disorders. We pray for those affected by hopelessness as well as people dealing with suicidal thoughts. We ask that you provide them with comfort and guidance, and the placement of a support system in their life to let them know that they are important and that they matter and that they're not alone.

Health, Wellness and Safety

We are specifically asking that GOD renew, restore, awaken and unlock the assignment of Ezekiel’s call in your people—from household to household—the mothers, the grandmothers, the great grandmothers, the aunties and uncles, the big sisters and brothers. Only, we as your people can make a difference in our cities.

Help us understand that our community should not be left in the hands everyone who lives outside of our community. The purpose of a community is to satisfy the needs of people. Open our hearts to start with an appreciation of people’s needs.
