A relationship with God is the most life-giving relationship possible. If you’ve never done so, we encourage you to invite God into your life. If you did at one time but the relationship has gone stale, we encourage you to renew that invitation. When God sees you moving toward him, he finds you and the rest of the relationship between you will come naturally. This process of inviting God into your life and having him meet you may seem odd and confusing, but you’ll just have to trust us on it until you experience it for yourself. The Bible says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” (Proverbs 16:3, NIV) I believe it’s crucial to develop the good habit of inviting God into all of our plans from day one, whatever they may be. God absolutely loves to take ordinary people and use them to accomplish the extraordinary. But one of the prerequisites is walking hand-in-hand with Him. Whatever your day holds, consult God first and foremost. He is the very best of counselors! Stay
