Let God work your problems out. If you try to figure out how God will bring healing in your life or situations, you will only be met with confusion and frustration. Instead of worrying about how God will heal you or pay your debts or help you find a job or a spouse, simply thank Him and praise Him for doing that thing in your life and consider it done in His perfect timing. If you do this, keep the faith that God will do it for as long as it takes, and watch how God will provide in the process.

Take your thoughts captive
The devil plays such tricks with our minds. It may be something you struggle with as well. We can convince ourselves that something is the truth only because of the way we have made it appear in our minds.
The Bible has a lot to say about our thoughts.
Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable — if anything is excellent or praiseworthy — think about such things. Philippians 4:8
The Lord knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile. Psalm 94:11
Search me, O God, and know my heart, test me and know my anxious thoughts. Psalm 139:23
Speak Life
This is not the first or even second time this year that I am sharing a post on the power of what we speak, which signals this is something that the Spirit of God wants us to settle within ourselves.
Evaluate what you let into your spirit.
Do not put vile things before your eyes. Do not poison yourself.

Does God want His people to have a happy marriage? Absolutely! I truly think He does. Above all He wants obedience. Obeying God won’t guarantee you a happy marriage, but it will give you all the ingredients for joy and hope in the midst of the mess.
I made a choice to love God and obey Him, and that is when I saw a change.
It was hard. It was work. It still is. I stopped focusing on making my marriage better. I stopped thinking about how to make my husband happy or how he could make me happy.
Instead, I turned my attention and focus on God. I prayed for strength to be obedient. I prayed for joy when I felt despair. When I felt God prompt me through His Word or the quiet whisper of the Spirit, I obeyed. It was like putting on a pair of blindfolds and saying, ‘Okay God, lead. I’m following.’
Obedience meant apologizing. It meant changing my tone or keeping quiet, to begin with. It meant bringing him a can of coke. Each day God gave me something to do as an act of worship to Him and it often looked like blessing my husband or refining my character.
We are told in James 1:5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” It’s important that you follow this example in your marriage. Take your marital problems to God, and ask Him for His wisdom. It’s easy to dwell on the bad, but during this time, focus on the positive.

Dealing with difficult people is something everyone faces. We all have someone who is, well, difficult. Rick Warren coined it best when he referred to difficult people as “extra grace required” people.
Knowing someone difficult is easy. Dealing with difficult people is the hard part. The worst part is the dread that precedes any gathering where your difficult person will be present.
Difficult people can be critical, with negative comments directed at you. It may be someone who is demanding, insisting things be done a certain way (AKA their way). Maybe, you have a difficult person in your life who is manipulative or controlling. Whatever challenge comes with your difficult person, keep these 3 truths about God in mind.

Predictability feels comfortable and reassuring.
Change feels scary. And I am not a fan of it.
Yet sometimes God wants to do new things in our lives, and before He does, He may call us to make changes that feel unfamiliar or even downright uncomfortable.

The lack of self-control exhibits itself before a child can talk, but it doesn’t take too many months before we hear: “I want to eat NOW!” “MINE!” “I want that for ME!” Every parent, aunt, uncle, pre-school teacher, and even grandparent has watched little children exhibit self-centered, me-first, impatient behavior.
As adults, we see children behave without self-control and think, “When they’re mature like us they won’t act like that.” But many marriages flounder and fail because the “adults” have never matured in their ability to have self-control. The marriage is made of children in adult bodies.
Every marriage—including ours—has experienced the pain of being relational infants. But pursuing maturity in your marriage is worth it as you grow in God-empowered self-control!
And you will honor Jesus as you treasure His gift to you of your spouse as you build your marriage!

Life is not predictable. There are ups and downs along the way. Many of us want to trust God. When times are good, it can feel easier. But when times feel difficult, it is even more important to trust God. God’s unchanging character can give us a firm foundation when things feel unsteady and uncertain. Life can be going along smoothly for a season. Your job is satisfying. Your friends and family are enjoyable. Your goals, finances, health and outlook seem bright. Then, all of a sudden, life throws a curveball. Someone you know gets sick. You lose your job. A friend or family member betrays you. The things you felt secure in all of a sudden feel shaky and uncertain. How do you trust that God is good in these circumstances? How do you trust Him when you do not understand what is happening? When you cannot see a resolution? These are valid questions, and God wants to help you navigate them.

Anxiety is a species of fear. It’s the paralyzing fear of “what if.” It’s the fear that something we dread might possibly come true. There’s only one solution to anxiety: the assurance everything is going to be okay. But the world gives us no such assurances. We find ourselves surrounded by myriad real dangers resulting in an endless list of “what if.” It’s no wonder human beings are so afflicted with anxiety. And our anxieties only increase our misery by adding countless imagined dangers to the very real ones in front of us. But God. God the Son stepped into this dangerous, demonic world, where even man’s greatest efforts to ensure safety are ultimately and decidedly defeated by death. And when he did, he made the most audacious claim ever uttered by human lips: for every person who believes in him, everything is going to be ultimately, gloriously, eternally, inexpressibly, wonderfully okay (John 3:16; 11:25–26). Then to demonstrate the reality of his claim, and therefore its trustworthiness, he decidedly defeated death and announced “all authority in heaven and on earth” had been given to him (Matthew 28:18).
