Paul Bodnar and Eric Wanless of The Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) join Africa Progress Panel Director-in-charge Max Bankole Jarrett to discuss African energy issues. [Recorded in November 2016]
Paul Bodnar is a Managing Director at the RMI, where he helps oversee the institute’s programmes in emerging markets and sustainable finance.
Paul served in the Obama White House as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Energy and Climate Change at the National Security Council. Paul was a key architect of the Obama Administration’s international climate policies.
Eric is a Principal with RMI’s international practice, where he leads the Sustainable Energy for Economic Development work and serves as a key adviser for RMI’s China program. He is an expert in energy strategy development and implementation and product and market design innovation for electric utilities, governments, heavy industry, and corporations.
