Bitterness is irrational, and whenever we accommodate bitterness, we are opening the door for demonic affliction in our lives; hence, we become the biggest recipients of its destruction and toxicity.

Whatever anyone has done to us in this life, we have to LET IT GO; if not, we'd be holding it in ourselves and thereby grieving the Holy Spirit within us.

In today's Friendship Service, Pastor Dami started by stating the three models of relationship we can have with God; Fatherhood, Lordship, and Friendship.

Pastor explained that each model has a language: the language of Fatherhood is provision, service for Lordship and intimacy is the language for Friendship.

Friendship is the highest and finest form of relationship we can have with God. This engineers the prophetic as a result of things God reveals to us as friends. In friendship, we are either pulled apart 'Pullers' or pushed up 'Pushers'. There are two types of Pullers; the 'projectors' and the 'suggestors' and two types of Pushers; the 'supporters' and the 'partners'. We must learn to discern our friends because friends can optimize opportunities, determine destinies and also drown dreams.

God is a refiner's fire and a fuller's soap, so he will sit on us until all the dross is removed. God is committed to making us reflect him in holiness.

In Romans 12:1 we know that the proof of a saved spirit and a renewed mind is a presented body. We are expected to adapt to God's standard and produce the fruits of righteousness in season and out of season.

Taking the parable of the fig leaf, it was not in its season yet but Jesus required it to produce fruits. There are no off days in the believer's journey especially in these perilous times.

In today's teaching on “The Holy Spirit, Fruits over Gifts,” Pastor Dami emphasized that every fall, whether physical or spiritual has consequences, as it hinders our spiritual journey. He stressed that God desires holiness in us as a reflection of Himself, and we must strive to embody His nature.

When we embrace God’s doctrine, we become firm like rocks, but following human doctrine makes us unstable, like paper tossed by the wind.

Pastor Dami highlighted the distinction between gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit:

• Gifts are special abilities given by the Holy Spirit.

• Fruits are the consistent traits that reflect the Holy Spirit's presence in us.

Ultimately, he urged believers to prioritize bearing the fruits of the Spirit over seeking the gifts.
