What happens if we have failed to follow God’s will in the past? Are we condemned to wander the spiritual wastelands for the rest of our days? No, not when our God is the God of faithful love, who “shows sinners the way.” Psalm 25 teaches us that failure is not final with God, that it is the character of God to lead his people, and that a humble heart will once again experience the guidance of God.
