In this episode we explore Sarah Cawley's story of overcoming life's challenges which led her to Functional Medicine. Sarah shares her story of her diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer at age 32,  her youngest daughter being born with hydrocephalus and other health complications, and a misdiagnosis of terminal lung cancer with a 6 month life expectancy.  After several "miracles" occurred in her life, she began to explore "root cause medicine".  After she visited a Functional Medicine doctor, she began to see the connection between her lifestyle and her health issues.  This doctor listened to her and she felt she couldn't go back to working in the traditional medical model of medicine in the ER.  She made the choice to  get trained at the Cleveland Clinic and began her work in Functional Medicine.  This is when the Marigold Wellness Collective was born.  Check out this amazing business where you can gain a sence of self.
