Kept me intrigued
In this third book we get to know what happened to Austin and Paige while Tom Ryan was closing Luciferâs portals. Certainly they had not got rid of the nightmares that had haunted them. Paige was still recovering and struggling with intimacy but Austin was patient and loving. He had his medical degree and was ready to commit his life to Paige and suddenly, everything went south. The nightmare began, again and they were running for their lives far away from help. As usual this stories are full of suspense, intrigue and much mystery. Liked that this story answered a question I had while reading Tom Ryanâs last book. Good how the author managed the story line focusing in what Austin and Paige was doing to survive. The story was short but packed with good vibes, good and known characters, romance and hot scenes.
What a wedding day!
Practical Magick was a well written book that kept me engaged from the moment I picked it up. A beautiful wedding followed by a nightmare wedding night...and I love the fact that the characters wait until they're safe to do anything that might put them in danger or distract them. (I hate when characters start having sex when the bad guys are right in the next room, like they have no control!) Even though there's the paranormal aspect, it's realistic in ways that help keep the story accessible. Excellent follow up to the Ryan Chronicles!

From the pen of the author, J. E. Taylor, magic is created again. I was given an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Austin has learned of his angelic heritage, finished Medical School and now wants to get married. Her talks Paige into leaving their safety zone and going to Vegas to get married. He has all the details worked out, limo, gown, best "man", special chapel and they finally say I Do. Everything goes off without a hitch, until their back to the hotel. Then all "hell" breaks loose.
Of course I'm not going to tell you any more of this exciting story. One word of advice, don't start reading at night. You won't want to stop.
Good Read.
This was a good book. Hunter, one of Lucifer's henchmen, is doing everything he can to spoil Page and Austin's wedding. Or, kill them if he can.
There is a lot of action, romance and the paranormal in this book. I cannot wait for the next one.

Years ago, Austin and Paige went to York at the request of the Ryan's and he discovered that he was a descendant of an Arch Angel and Lucifer was killing his blood line off to drink their blood with getting stronger to take over the world.
