The 3rd book of the New Testament is the longest book of the New Testament. While Matthew and Acts have more chapters, Luke is about 4 pages longer than both of them. Luke covers the birth of Jesus and his drive towards the cross more extensively than any other book. This book is filled with parables and miracles and we are excited to begin looking in depth at this wonderful retelling about our awesome Savior, Jesus!

It is much easier to give thanks to God for good things or positive answers to our prayers. The command is given to us though to be thankful in all things. How can we be thankful for those things we perceive to be painful or difficult? Does God expect us to be grateful for loss and hurt? How can we genuinely thank God for all things?

We will define and illustrate what an attitude of thankfulness looks like. Being thankful is a spiritual discipline all of us should strive for.

We will look at the directions Jesus left for His followers of what we should do if we find ourselves living in the end of times.
