We are called to keep our eyes focused on the salvation that only comes through Christ, even in the midst of persecution and opposition. In this series, we will look at the Book of 1st Peter, drawing hope from the realization that we are elect exiles, chosen by God to live in a world that is not our home, but focusing on the redemption found in Christ alone and in His soon coming return as King!

Pentecost is about more than just tongues - it is about being empowered by the Holy Spirit - God Himself - to be forever changed into bold witnesses for Christ. God in us - the power of Pentecost!

Three words: He is Risen. Eternal significance beyond all we can think or imagine! He - Jesus! Is - has already happened and is a past, present, and future fact! Risen - alive and seated at the right hand of the Father! The whole of the Christian life is dependent upon these three little words!

The words that Jesus uttered still ring throughout eternity: "It is finished!"
