It's a quandary for sure.

Are you worried about anything right now? Paul in the Bible says to focus on whatever is true, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely... It's not just generic positive stuff. We can acknowledge that we're feeling what we're feeling, and then while experiencing that, lean in to the truths that the Lord wants us to take with us.

You are not alone. He sees and knows all the things that you're experiencing. He has a way to help walk you through it. Seek His Word for a boost of comfort strength and peace.

Reading the stories of the Bible, God consistently chose people who were undervalued; David, Joseph... Be mindful to operate in the way God would want you to. Take stock of what matters to you and weigh it against what the Lord's values.

A reminder for us today, look at your job as being to love people. Jesus gives us a template for this in His Word. Soak in the truth on this, and it will become easier to do.

Proverbs 14:31

Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity.

Isaiah 1:17

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

The verses go on and on about this. Find some that resonate and memorize them. Armor yourself with God's Word so you can be ready to follow God's will in every situation
