“Elbow is an English alternative rock band and “Asleep in the Dark” was their debut album in the 90s. This is probably one of my top 5 favorite songs of all time. It is an anthem to raw human emotion, passion, and fire. The song does what music is ultimately supposed to do - take you on a journey and captivate you. The build-up of emotion swells into a mighty fire ⅔ of the way in.
