Rio de Janeiro-born and São Paulo-based friends Helena Sicupira and Mariana Prates share not only the change of zip code and a career in fashion but also an affinity that involves, besides memories of growing up in the same city, passion for Brazilian modernist architecture, art and design.
Brazilian music is one of the main inspirations surrounding Prasi’s pieces. In the same manner that we love the modernist influences in Art and Architecture, we are also passionate about MPB (Popular Brazilian Music). So fittingly, we have decided to begin a Podcast about it. The premiere pill could not be about any other song: the legendary Garota de Ipanema and the recording in Antonio Carlos Jobim's "The Composer of Desafinado, Plays".

Brazilian music is one of the main inspirations surrounding Prasi’s pieces. In the same manner that we love the modernist influences in Art and Architecture, we are also passionate about MPB (Popular Brazilian Music). So fittingly, we have decided to begin a Podcast about it. None other than one of the country's greatest theater directors and also a music fanatic Felipe Hirsch has invited Hugo Sukman to the task. Sukman is arguably the most admired specialist in Brazilian music today. The result is a spontaneous conversation about the best versions of fundamental, remarkable, and world-famous recordings in the MPB repertoire. These conversations, recorded from a safe distance, became podcast pills. The premiere pill could not be about any other song: the legendary Garota de Ipanema and the recording in Antonio Carlos Jobim's "The Composer of Desafinado, Plays".
