What a beautiful way to strengthen your day as a teacher by letting God into your daily thoughts! Whether a private or public school educator, we take who we are with us and can't leave it at the door! It's okay to ask God for help when you are confused or unsure. He will listen and wants to be a part of your life!

This prayer focuses on avoiding workplace negativity and to key in on being a support to our fellow teachers and co-workers. Making sure to only speak about things that uplift one another and not to let our curiosity become a gateway for gossip.

This prayer is focused on ending racism and prejudice and to take a deeper look at ourselves and feelings. We are all made in the image of God. (Genesis 1:27 God created mankind in his image).

Let's take a moment to reflect with God:

• Am I able to confront my own prejudice and not hold it against a child? For example, maybe this student is a sibling of a former student and we have preconceived ideas about how this child will behave based on their siblings past behavior before knowing how this child will respond in class.
• Do I make judgements about a student based solely on information from past teachers?
• Do I make assumptions about different races?

Dear Lord, Please guide me to do better in my teaching for my students and not to hold any prejudice against anyone but to see your face in every person that I meet.  Amen

This prayer highlights school support staff and particular our Para-Professionals. Para-Professionals (Teaching Assistants) work within our classrooms to help support our students. We are grateful for their continued patience and guidance for our students.
