"And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free"....that's what the truth does for us...IT SETS US FREE!!! So when GOD gives you a truth that you need to pay attention to, allow it to do it's job and SET YOU FREE!!!

We ALL have a job to do in the Kingdom...and doing that job consistently helps us to focus on the LORD and keeps us close to HIM. If you're feeling a drifting away or a feeling of distraction has come upon you, pray and ask GOD who did HE create you to serve and ask HIM to lead you to them. This world is a distracting place and it's not set up for us to win. Everything here is trying to distract us from the goodness of GOD. We have to be INTENTIONAL about seeking after HIM and keeping our focus on HIM.

Praising GOD has many benefits....1. HE'S WORTHY OF PRAISE!!! 2. It Keeps our heart in the right posture, and reminds us that literally EVERYTHING belongs to HIM!!! Even the things that we do well....HE empowered us to, for HIS Glory and our good. Praising GOD for the things HE allows us to do well reminds us that it's not of our own doing, it's HIS. When we give HIM the praise for things that HE'S allowed us to do well, two things happen....GOD receives something from us that belongs to HIM, and we're protected from conceit, which is hazardous to our souls.

We ALL need guidance and direction, no matter how old we get. The Bishop T.D. Jakes reminded me of that the other night...he said no matter how "grown" we get, we still NEED to be led by GOD. And it's the truth...we NEVER reach an age where we no longer need GOD. NEVER. And HE is truly the ONLY one equipped to lead us, guide us, teach us, and show us who we are. Let HIM LEAD YOU!!! What a friend we have in JESUS!!! But...we have to be HIS friend back!!! Friendship is reciprocal, meaning HE'S not only our friend, but HE wants us to be HIS too!! And it's something we can do!!! Not on our own of course, but through the guidance of HIS love, HE'LL teach us to be in TRUE friendship with HIM. AMEN

There is no decision that we have to make in life that doesn't require GOD'S wisdom...we need HIS wisdom for EVERYTHING!!! And all the time. Feeling bad about yourself and what you offer is not a sign of being humble, it's a sign of not believing what GOD says about you. Low self-esteem is dangerous. It can cause you to seek to please people, and not GOD. Be careful about how you view yourself. If it doesn't match up with the Word of GOD, then you need a restored and renewed mind...and GOD can provide that...you need only ASK. AMEN

When GOD tell us to "Be Still", HE knows what HE'S doing!!! When HE'S fighting our battles for us, He means EVERY BATTLE...even the wars that people wage against us in the form of gossip, judgement, ridicule, etc. "Be still and know that I AM GOD. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!" means just that, HE WILL BE EXALTED!!! HE won't fail...and HE'S NEVER lost a fight...AMEN
