Prayer is part of the human experience. This is true for people of faith and those who cry out to God only in their most desperate circumstances. There are several instances where Jesus prays. The prayer recorded in the gospel of John is powerful because here we find that He prays for us. In yet another powerful moment Jesus hears and responds to a man who in every sense had only one option left – to pray. To pray to Jesus who He acknowledged to be God.
