N°164 — Prayer Doesn’t Have to Be Complicated

Over the past year, the way we pray has changed so much. We used to talk often about going on long prayer walks and speaking to God almost like we were calling a friend—sharing every thought, feeling, worry, and question. That was such a beautiful part of our faith, but eventually, prayer sometimes started to feel overwhelming. We felt pressure to have something to say, and when we didn’t, we weren’t always sure what prayer was supposed to look like.

In this episode, we’re sharing an honest update on our prayer lives and how God has opened our eyes to the many different ways prayer can exist. It doesn’t always have to be long, perfectly focused, or complicated. Sometimes it is a quiet moment, a simple sentence, going to Mass, or just becoming more aware of God throughout your day.

This is a conversation about growing in prayer, letting go of some of the pressure we placed on it, and learning that our relationship with God can continue to change and deepen through every season.
