Come Holy Spirit,

in this time of desolation, the last thing that I want to do is to be patient. There's part of me that wants to... just sprint and strive to try to Get out of it and get through it.

But I ask that you would give me patience. Open my eyes to how patience will help me. Help me to see its beauty and its usefulness.

There are times when the desolation feels like... It is just a new normal. and it will just go on and on forever. But I know that's not true. It had a beginning, and it will have an end. You will lead me out of it at the right time.

Help me to be patient and fill me with hope. that it will be soon, that you lead me out of it. It will be soon. that you return consolation to me and grace. Amen.
