Prayer on SermonAudio

In order to escape the wrath and curse of God due to us for sin, a person must exercise saving faith in the Person and Work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This sermon interprets Psalm 45 as a prophetic depiction of the relationship between Christ and the church, structured as a royal wedding narrative. The first half of the psalm describes the King, identifying Jesus as the morally beautiful, mighty warrior who reigns in righteousness and has been exalted by the Father for His perfect obedience. The second half addresses the Queen, the church, exhorting believers to forget the world and wait in holiness for the King's return. The text culminates in the imagery of the wedding feast, where the glorified church is presented to Christ without spot or wrinkle, entering His palace for eternal praise and fellowship.

In Part 15 of the Revelation Unraveled series, Pastor Byron Chesney examines Revelation 5:8–10 and the heavenly worship that erupts before the Lamb. The redeemed sing a new song celebrating the blood of Jesus Christ, who alone is worthy because He was slain and has redeemed sinners from every kindred, tongue, people, and nation. This message highlights the power of prayer, the price of redemption, and the glorious truth that those who have been redeemed by the Lamb will one day reign with Him.
