Paster: Andy Riley Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Calico Rock, AR Old fashion singing and KJV preaching

Bible Reading: Matthew 26:36-46 Sermon: Matthew 26:39 1. His Separation in Prayer. 2. His Sorrow in Prayer. This sermon examines the example of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane to define the essential nature of Christian prayer. It argues that prayer is not merely a ritual but a vital priority that requires separation from distractions, deep sorrow for sin, and intense spiritual struggle. By analyzing Christ's agony and His repeated submission to the Father's will, the message emphasizes that true prayer involves obedience and a willingness to align one's desires with God's purposes. The preacher urges believers to move beyond emergency pleading toward a consistent, broken, and fervent life of communion with God.
