What made God accept Abel's offering but not Cain's?  Whats the difference between obedience and sacrifice?

The gift of tongues has always been a hot topic in and out of church.  Termed Glossolia in Greek, some believe it is a heavenly language, the confirmation that you received the Holy Spirit and that it is synonymous with praying in the Spirit.  However, there are also some that believe it is fake, no longer in existence and unnecessary.  So which is it? Can a prerecorded prayer, word or prophecy still apply to someone who wasn't alive or present when it was spoken or written?  

We see the preachers who ask for money as the problem but what about the people who give to be blessed.

No one can serve two masters: Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 

Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap or gather into barns—and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

The Holy Spirit is referred to as a fire, why?
