In this message we’re reminded that prayer isn’t just a religious task — it’s a lifeline in our moments of sorrow and temptation. Jesus didn’t ask His disciples to pray for Him, but with Him — and when they fell asleep, He exposed the root of our prayerlessness: we often choose being comfortable over seeking the Comforter. The enemy offers temporary relief — distractions, entertainment, and avoidance — to keep us stuck in our brokenness. That’s being comfortable. But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, brings true healing, strength, and restoration. While comfort makes us whole, comfortable keeps us numb. This message is a wake-up call to stop running from the pain and instead bring it to the One who can truly carry it.
