Is there anything better you can imagine to ask for? I often think that this is the one thing that would bring peace to our many sources of anxiety, pain, thirst, emptiness: having a more intimate, trusting and joy-filled relationship with the Holy Spirit in our hour by hour ordinary lives.

Father. I pray for McLean. I ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit for Him. I know that he has already received it from you at his baptism. But I pray for a fresh outpouring, a renewal, a deeper relational knowledge experience.. Jesus said that if parents on earth know how to give good gifts to their children, how much more will you, the Father, give the Holy Spirit to those who ask. So I ask for my brother. Amen.
