“Eternal One: Tell My people about their wrongdoing; shout with a voice like a trumpet; Hold nothing back: say this people of Jacob’s line and heritage have failed to do what is right. And yet they look for Me every day. They pretend to want to learn what I teach, As if they are indeed a nation good and true, as if they hadn’t really turned their backs on My directives. They even ask Me, as though they care,

about what I want them to be and do, as if they really want Me in their lives.” (Isaiah 58:1-2)

“But God will strike you down, pull you from your home, and drag you away from the land of the living. The followers of God will see it happen. They will watch in awe. Then they will laugh and say, “See what happens to those who despise God and trust in their wealth, and become ever more bold in their wickedness.” (Psalm 52:5-7)

“Lord, you do not hold back your compassion from me.

Let your mercy and your truth always protect me.” (Psalm 40:11)

“Evil shall cause the death of the wicked; and they who hate the just and righteous shall be held guilty and shall be condemned. The Lord redeems the lives of His servants, and none of those who take refuge and trust in Him shall be condemned or held guilty.” (Psalm 34:21-22)

“I will bless Zion with an endless supply of all she needs; I will satisfy the bellies of her hungry with bread. I will clothe her priests with salvation, and songs of joy will erupt from the hearts and mouths of her godly people.”

“Like a devoted gardener, I will pour sweet water on parched land, streams on hard-packed ground; I will pour My spirit on your children and grandchildren—and let My blessing flow to your descendants. And they will sprout among the grasses, grow vibrant and tall like the willow trees lining a riverbank.” (Isaiah 44:3-4)

“Look, I have made you like a new threshing board with many sharp teeth. You will trample mountains and crush them. You will make the hills like chaff. You will throw them into the air, and the wind will blow them away and scatter them. Then you will be happy in the Lord. You will be proud of the Holy One of Israel.” (Isaiah 41:15-16)

“I am the Lord your God, who holds your right hand.

And I tell you, ‘Don’t be afraid! I will help you.’ People of Israel, descendants of Jacob, you may be weak and worthless, but do not be afraid. I myself will help you.” This is what the Lord himself says. “I am the Holy One of Israel, the one who saves you.” (Isaiah 41:13-14)
