Abusers -&- pedophiles attempt to make what they are engaging in seem consensual, instead of coerced.

Sometimes the children they abuse might be compliant or even engaging, due to fear, threats, grooming, or otherwise mentally abusing them into submissive behavior.

Some children have been sexually manipulated and assaulted frequently, beginning when they are infants or very young children, and they start to associate themselves as purely sexual objects of gratification for adults.

They were raised to believe this was normal behavior & in order to receive love & attention, they must comply with whatever their caregivers demand.

Some fathers raise their daughters or sons to think giving them sexual pleasure is their duty, or tell them they are teaching them how to be proper fathers and future mothers.

The world of child sexual abuse is complicated and can be passed on through dysfunctional families to their children who then go on to abuse their own children.

It's a cycle just like all abuse is, and those who commit sexual atrocities against minors they are supposed to be protecting, tell themselves the children enjoy it for their own excitement & justification
