Last week, we were looking at Jesus' example to see what our purpose here on this planet really is. It is so powerful to learn that our purpose is to love, empower and encourage those in our inner circle. I know that is easier said than done. This week we are going to pray about that. We are going to ask the Holy Spirit to show us how to parent, love and encourage our family and friends. Then we will make a game plan and get moving in the right direction.
This Weeks Prayer:
Father, In my heart I plan my course, but you, LORD, determine my steps. It's comforting knowing I can trust You. Your word says, You know the plans You have for me. Your plans are to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a future. I know when I call on You in prayer, You are listening. When I seek You with my whole heart I will find You. I come to You now, giving You my family's future. Help me line up our plans with Your will and calling for our lives. Help me to be that example to my kids. Let everything we do, be done in love and bring people closer to You.
I pray this in Jesus' name, amen.
Scripture to pray for the week:
Proverbs 16:9
In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.
Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

I pray you wake up today with a smile on your face and joy in your heart, because you feel the love from your family near and far! I know that isn't always the case. But after a year of us praying consistently, I hope you are a little closer. As moms, we try to be everything to everybody, and it can be exhausting and discouraging at times. Every once in a while we get a glimpse of why we do what we do. This week we are going to pray about our time, and how we spend it. I'm going to talk about prioritizing what is most important. We are going to look at the life of Jesus and how he spent his time as a model for ourselves.
This Weeks Prayer:
Father, This week I pray I learn to prioritize my time well. I want to spend my days loving and helping those you have trusted in my care. There are so many things that need to be done, I need help knowing what is most important. Holy Spirit, show me who and what my assignment is while I am still walking this Earth. Show me the things that need to be done that only I was created to do. Help me let go of things on my schedule that pulls me from those priorities. Give me wisdom and discernment to know what and who I should focus on.
I pray this in Jesus' name, amen.
Scripture to pray for the week:
The Gospels following Jesus' life.
