Pre Game Proverb

Pro 9:1-6 -- Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars;  She has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine; She has also set her table; She has sent out her maidens, she calls From the tops of the heights of the city: "Whoever is naive, let him turn in here!" To him who lacks understanding she says,  "Come, eat of my food And drink of the wine I have mixed.  "Forsake your folly and live, And proceed in the way of understanding."

Pro 16:9  We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.

Pro 7:2  Keep my commandments and live, And my teaching as the apple of your eye.

Pro 7:3  Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.

Pro 6:27  Can a man scoop a flame into his lap and not have his clothes catch on fire?

Pro 6:28  Can he walk on hot coals and not blister his feet?

Pro 6:29  So it is with the man who sleeps with another man’s wife. He who embraces her will not go unpunished.

Pro 3:5  Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean on your own understanding. 

Pro 3:7  Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil. 

Pro 2:16  Wisdom will save you from the immoral woman, from the seductive words of the promiscuous woman.

Pro 2:17  She has abandoned her husband and ignores the covenant she made before God.

Pro 2:18  Entering her house leads to death; it is the road to the grave.

Pro 1:32  For simpletons turn away from me—to death. Fools are destroyed by their own complacency.
Pro 1:33  But all who listen to me will live in peace, untroubled by fear of harm.”

Pro 31:30  Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised. 

Pro 27:7  A person who is full refuses honey, but even bitter food tastes sweet to the hungry.

Pro 26:20  Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops.
