A recent Hipfest presentation by Dr Sharon Carey on pre-operative fasting in the person with a hip fracture. Dr Carey is the Head of Nutrition and Dietetic & Director of Allied Health Research and Education, Institute of Academic Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
