I don’t see why people do things that are counterintuitive to their goals. If your focus is to live a healthier life, why then, would you take something that puts you in a state of anxiety. This is not about science - this is about intuition. Why do you need to feel that jolt? Are you sleep-deprived? Are you too distracted by your phone without it? There are underlying causes that should be addressed, but people will always opt for the band-aid solution. Nobody’s saying so, but I think pre-workout is a bandaid solution. It’s a scam, and a waste of money. Develop healthy habits and you will have energy to workout. Plain and simple.
