When Paul ran across some people with a questionable salvation, he gave them the only thing that could give them true certainty: the gospel. When 100% of our hope is in Jesus, then we can be 100% certain of being saved.

As the priestly ministry began, Aaron did much right, while two of his sons did something terribly wrong. What made the difference? A holy fear of God.

Do New Testament Christians need to know about the ordination of Old Testament priests? Yes…it all points to Jesus! Jesus was set apart by God, Jesus is the sacrifice given unto God, and Jesus was supplied to serve God to the full – and Jesus equips us to serve God as well.

Jesus used many people for His kingdom: Paul, Aquila, Priscilla, and Apollos. He has a plan to use us too. Are you willing? Are you available?

Paul’s ministry in Corinth was boosted by a promise of protection from the Lord Jesus. When faced with difficulty, Jesus made a way!

In Acts 17:24-34, we continue with Paul’s message to the council in Athens. God is the Sovereign Creator, the Righteous Judge, and the One to whom we must respond. How can we know? Because Jesus is risen from the dead!

Although he faced mockery, Paul had the opportunity to preach the gospel in Athens, and he took it. Seize the day! Take your opportunity to do the same.

As the book of Leviticus begins, there is a tabernacle where the people can worship; they just need to know how to worship. God tells them. God wants His people to worship Him, and He makes it possible through the shedding of blood and His grace.

When in Thessalonica and Berea, Paul and Silas were faithful to preach the gospel, despite difficulties. Why? Because the good news is that good. Don’t quit the gospel!

At the conclusion of the book of Exodus, the promises of God come to fulfillment. When the Israelites built the tabernacle, the glorious presence of God came among them. Don’t let anything get in the way of you living in the presence of Jesus!
