Pizza Party Part 2 (Two Things)
Today’s episode is the second in a multi-part series I’ve dubbed “Pizza Party”. In today's session, we break down the Two Things that are essential to embodying the Spirit of God in your life.
The “fruit of the Spirit”, as Apostle Paul reveals in Galatians 5:22-23, is made up of nine elements: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Now, it’s one thing to know the what when it comes to defining the fruit of the Spirit. Paul has given us the what. But this series aims to accomplish something totally unique: I’m taking things a step further and discussing the why, the where, and the how of the fruit of the Spirit.
However, before we can analyze the nine elements of the fruit of the Spirit, slice by slice, there are "Two Things" we have to talk about that are essential to fully appreciate this series—and not just this series, but your life as a believer.
Just what are these Two Things that we need to understand in our quest to resist the acts of the flesh and embody the Spirit of Truth?
Tune in and find out.

Key Quotes by Pastor Milo:
● [This study is about the ] Old You versus the New You. The Old You has this human nature—this fallen nature—where it’s just natural to sin. Paul says, in your old nature, you produce what is called the “acts of the flesh”. [...] But now you’re a...new creation. You’ve been made new by God—you’ve been born again. You’ve been born by the Spirit of God and [...] so you don’t produce the acts of the flesh but the fruit of the Spirit.
● Sanctification shows us the Divine Directive and the Divine Direction of God.
