Jemar Tisby is a Historian, Author, and Speaker and has served many pastors by giving voice to these issues. He has graciously given us his time and he and The Witness have been a massive resource to The Church on these issues. So many churches and pastors the notion of talking or preaching about systemic injustice or structural racism is a topic that most are afraid to touch or talk about. This has a particular effect on minorities sitting in these types of congregations. Jemar helps us in this episode.

Today is MLK day which is our nation's way of remembering one of the greatest figures in African American history. We tackle the tough topic of Biblical Justice with Tyler Burns who hosts the Pass the Mic Podcast, leads The Witness (A Black Christian Collective), and serves the local church as a pastor. We spend time talking about Biblical Justice and how to preach about these issues in today's tumultuous and racially divided times.
