  • “It’s all about Jesus”
The Gospel is a message of good news and it is all about Jesus. God is sending out an invitation in love and grace to tell mankind about the wonderful Salvation that is available in the Lord Jesus. Come and listen.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Luke 3:21-23 “21 And it came to pass, all the people having been baptised, and Jesus having been baptised and praying, that the heaven was opened,22 and the Holy Spirit descended in a bodily form as a dove upon him; and a voice came out of heaven, *Thou* art my beloved Son, in thee I have found my delight.23 And Jesus himself was beginning to be about thirty years old”
    1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 “15 (For this we say to you in [the] word of [the] Lord, that *we*, the living, who remain to the coming of the Lord, are in no way to anticipate those who have fallen asleep;16 for the Lord himself, with an assembling shout, with archangel’s voice and with trump of God, shall descend from heaven; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;
17 then *we*, the living who remain, shall be caught up together with them in [the] clouds, to meet the Lord in [the] air; and thus we shall be always with [the] Lord.18 So encourage one another with these words.)”
Luke 24:13-21 “13 And behold, two of them were going on the same day to a village distant sixty stadia from Jerusalem, called Emmaus;14 and they conversed with one another about all these things which had taken place.
15 And it came to pass as they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus himself drawing nigh, went with them;16 but their eyes were holden so as not to know him.17 And he said to them, What discourses are these which pass between you as ye walk, and are downcast?18 And one [of them], named Cleopas, answering said to him, Thou sojournest alone in Jerusalem, and dost not know what has taken place in it in these days?
19 And he said to them, What things? And they said to him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazaraean, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people;20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to [the] judgment of death and crucified him.21 But *we* had hoped that *he* was [the one] who is about to redeem Israel. “

  • The word of God is living
The Bible is God’s word and it is living and powerful and still relevant today. God is still speaking to us through His word and in this Gospel preaching you will hear of God’s wonderful plan of salvation in Jesus Christ.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Psalms 139:1-18 “139 Jehovah, thou hast searched me, and known [me].2 *Thou* knowest my down-sitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off;3 Thou searchest out my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways;4 For there is not yet a word on my tongue, [but] lo, O Jehovah, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thy hand upon me.6 O knowledge too wonderful for me! it is high, I cannot [attain] unto it.7 Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? and whither flee from thy presence?8 If I ascend up into the heavens thou art there; or if I make my bed in Sheol, behold, thou [art there];9 [If] I take the wings of the dawn [and] dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.
11 And if I say, Surely darkness shall cover me, and the light about me be night;12 Even darkness hideth not from thee, and the night shineth as the day: the darkness is as the light.13 For thou hast possessed my reins; thou didst cover me in my mother’s womb.14 I will praise thee, for I am fearfully, wonderfully made. Marvellous are thy works; and [that] my soul knoweth right well.15 My bones were not hidden from thee when I was made in secret, curiously wrought in the lower parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my unformed substance, and in thy book all [my members] were written; [during many] days were they fashioned, when [as yet] there was none of them.17 But how precious are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!18 [If] I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I awake, I am still with thee.
Psalms 139:23 ““23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; prove me, and know my thoughts;24 And see if there be any grievous way in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.”
Hebrews 4:12-13 “12 For the word of God [is] living and operative, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and penetrating to [the] division of soul and spirit, both of joints and marrow, and a discerner of the thoughts and intents of [the] heart. 3 And there is not a creature unapparent before him; but all things [are] naked and laid bare to his eyes, with whom we have to do.”

  • Jesus Sets Captives Free
Only Jesus can set the captives to sin free. There are no good works we can do to save ourselves the Bible says that salvation from sin is only found in the Lord Jesus Christ. Listen to this Gospel preaching and discover how you can be set free by the work Jesus completed at the cross.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Hebrews 2:14-15 “14 Since therefore the children partake of blood and flesh, he also, in like manner, took part in the same, that through death he might annul him who has the might of death, that is, the devil;15 and might set free all those who through fear of death through the whole of their life were subject to bondage.”
Luke 4:16-21 “16 And he came to Nazareth, where he was brought up; and he entered, according to his custom, into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up to read.17 And [the] book of the prophet Esaias was given to him; and having unrolled the book he found the place where it was written,
18 [The] Spirit of [the] Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach glad tidings to [the] poor; he has sent me to preach to captives deliverance, and to [the] blind sight, to send forth [the] crushed delivered,19 to preach [the] acceptable year of [the] Lord.20 And having rolled up the book, when he had delivered it up to the attendant, he sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed upon him.21 And he began to say to them, To-day this scripture is fulfilled in your ears.”
John 11:33-44 “33 Jesus therefore, when he saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, was deeply moved in spirit, and was troubled,34 and said, Where have ye put him? They say to him, Lord, come and see.35 Jesus wept.36 The Jews therefore said, Behold how he loved him!
37 And some of them said, Could not this [man], who has opened the eyes of the blind [man], have caused that this [man] also should not have died?38 Jesus therefore, again deeply moved in himself, comes to the tomb. Now it was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.39 Jesus says, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the dead, says to him, Lord, he stinks already, for he is four days [there].40 Jesus says to her, Did I not say to thee, that if thou shouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?41 They took therefore the stone away. And Jesus lifted up his eyes on high and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me;42 but I knew that thou always hearest me; but on account of the crowd who stand around I have said [it], that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
43 And having said this, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.44 And the dead came forth, bound feet and hands with graveclothes, and his face was bound round with a handkerchief. Jesus says to them, Loose him and let him go.”
Ephesians 2:1-10  “2 and *you*, being dead in your offences and sins—2 in which ye once walked according to the age of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience:3 among whom *we* also all once had our conversation in the lusts of our flesh, doing what the flesh and the thoughts willed to do, and were children, by nature, of wrath, even as the rest:
4 but God, being rich in mercy, because of his great love wherewith he loved us,5 (we too being dead in offences,) has quickened us with the Christ, (ye are saved by grace,)6 and has raised [us] up together, and has made [us] sit down together in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus,7 that he might display in the coming ages the surpassing riches of his grace in kindness towards us in Christ Jesus.
8 For ye are saved by grace, through faith; and this not of yourselves; it is God’s gift:9 not on the principle of works, that no one might boast.10 For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has before prepared that we should walk in them.”

  • A Snapshot of the Early Church
In the book of Acts the writer, Luke gives a snapshot of the early church. Luke tells us that the early believers persevered in the teaching and fellowship of the apostles, in breaking of bread and prayers. Another scriptures tells us that they continued preaching and sharing that Jesus was the Son of God. This should be our focus today to go and make disciples of all nations just as Jesus said.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Acts 2:42-47 “42 And they persevered in the teaching and fellowship of the apostles, in breaking of bread and prayers.43 And fear was upon every soul, and many wonders and signs took place through the apostles’ means.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common,45 and sold their possessions and substance, and distributed them to all, according as any one might have need.46 And every day, being constantly in the temple with one accord, and breaking bread in [the] house, they received their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,47 praising God, and having favour with all the people; and the Lord added [to the assembly] daily those that were to be saved.”
John 10:30 “I and the Father are one.”
John 10:27-30 “27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me;28 and I give them life eternal; and they shall never perish, and no one shall seize them out of my hand.29 My Father who has given [them] to me is greater than all, and no one can seize out of the hand of my Father.30 I and the Father are one.”
Luke 19:10 “10 for the Son of man has come to seek and to save that which is lost.”
1 John 1:6-7 “6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not practise the truth.7 But if we walk in the light as *he* is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.”
Matthew 23:37-39 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [the city] that kills the prophets and stones those that are sent unto her, how often would I have gathered thy children as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate;39 for I say unto you, Ye shall in no wise see me henceforth until ye say, Blessed [be] he that comes in the name of [the] Lord.”
Ephesians 5:25 “25 Husbands, love your own wives, even as the Christ also loved the assembly, and has delivered himself up for it,”
Zechariah 3:17 “17 Jehovah thy God is in thy midst, a mighty one that will save: he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will exult over thee with singing.”
Malachi 3:16-17 “16 Then they that feared Jehovah spoke often one to another; and Jehovah observed [it], and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared Jehovah, and that thought upon his name.17 And they shall be unto me a peculiar treasure, saith Jehovah of hosts, in the day that I prepare; and I will spare them as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.”

  • Jesus Loves me this I Know
The love of Jesus is the central theme of the Gospel message. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus came into this world to save sinners from the judgment of sin, death and power of the devil. The good news in the Gospel is that Jesus have brought salvation for mankind. We can receive this salvation free by coming to Him in repentance and faith. Jesus Loves me this I Know. Why? Because the Bible tells me so.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
John 3:16-17 “16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him may not perish, but have life eternal. 17 For God has not sent his Son into the world that he may judge the world, but that the world may be saved through him.”
Luke 23:39-43 “39″Now one of the malefactors who had been hanged spoke insultingly to him, saying, Art not thou the Christ? save thyself and us.40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost *thou* too not fear God, thou that art under the same judgment?
41 and *we* indeed justly, for we receive the just recompense of what we have done; but this [man] has done nothing amiss.42 And he said to Jesus, Remember me, [Lord,] when thou comest in thy kingdom.43 And Jesus said to him, Verily I say to thee, To-day shalt thou be with me in paradise.”
John 14:16-19 “16 And I will beg the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever,17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see him nor know him; but ye know him, for he abides with you, and shall be in you.18 I will not leave you orphans, I am coming to you.19 Yet a little and the world sees me no longer; but ye see me; because I live ye also shall live.”
John 14:1-3 “14 Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe on God, believe also on me.2 In my Father’s house there are many abodes; were it not so, I had told you: for I go to prepare you a place;3 and if I go and shall prepare you a place, I am coming again and shall receive you to myself, that where I am ye also may be.!

  • Jesus Draws Near
Though we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God we have not been forsaken. The Gospel is preached to tell you that Jesus himself has drawn near to you. The Bible tells us that Jesus journeyed to Calvary’s cross to bring Salvation to mankind.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Luke 24:13-1513 And behold, two of them were going on the same day to a village distant sixty stadia from Jerusalem, called Emmaus;14 and they conversed with one another about all these things which had taken place.15 And it came to pass as they conversed and reasoned, that Jesus himself drawing nigh, went with them;”
Luke 24:28-33 “28 And they drew near to the village where they were going, and *he* made as though he would go farther.29 And they constrained him, saying, Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is declining. And he entered in to stay with them.30 And it came to pass as he was at table with them, having taken the bread, he blessed, and having broken it, gave it to them.31 And their eyes were opened, and they recognised him. And he disappeared from them.
32 And they said to one another, Was not our heart burning in us as he spoke to us on the way, [and] as he opened the scriptures to us?33 And rising up the same hour, they returned to Jerusalem.
Luke 24:36 “36 And as they were saying these things, he himself stood in their midst, and says to them, Peace [be] unto you.”
Isaiah 1:18 “18 Come now, let us reason together, saith Jehovah: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

  • How are you spending your days?
One day passes very quickly into another and very swiftly a week passes, then a month and then a year. How are you spending your days? The Gospel is preached to awaken your heart to the need of a Saviour. Our sins have separated us from the presence of a holy God. There is nothing we can do to earn salvation but God in His great love for us has provided a Saviour in Jesus Christ.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
2 Corinthians 6:2 “behold, now [is the] well-accepted time; behold, now [the] day of salvation:)”
Job 14:1-5 “Man, born of woman, is of few days, and full of trouble.2 He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down; and he fleeth as a shadow, and continueth not.3 Yet dost thou open thine eyes upon such a one, and bringest me into judgment with thee?4 Who can bring a clean [man] out of the unclean? Not one!5 If his days are determined, if the number of his months is with thee, [and] thou hast appointed his bounds which he must not pass,”
Psalm 118:22-25 “22 [The] stone which the builders rejected hath become the head of the corner:23 This is of Jehovah; it is wonderful in our eyes.24 This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.25 Oh save, Jehovah, I beseech thee”
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 “5 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that ye should be written to,2 for ye know perfectly well yourselves, that the day of [the] Lord so comes as a thief by night.3 When they may say, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them, as travail upon her that is with child; and they shall in no wise escape.”

  • The Precious Name of Jesus
The name of Jesus is precious many who have come to know Him as their personal Saviour. Is the name of Jesus precious to you? God so loved the world that he sent his Son, Jesus Christ to bring salvation to fallen mankind.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    Philippians 2:5-11 “5 For let this mind be in you which [was] also in Christ Jesus;6 who, subsisting in the form of God, did not esteem it an object of rapine to be on an equality with God;7 but emptied himself, taking a bondman’s form, taking his place in [the] likeness of men;
8 and having been found in figure as a man, humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, and [that the] death of [the] cross.9 Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and granted him a name, that which is above every name,10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of heavenly and earthly and infernal [beings],11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord to God [the] Father’s glory.”
Acts 4:11-12 “11 *He* is the stone which has been set at nought by you the builders, which is become the corner stone.12 And salvation is in none other, for neither is there another name under heaven which is given among men by which we must be saved.”
Romans 10:12-13 “12 For there is no difference of Jew and Greek; for the same Lord of all [is] rich towards all that call upon him.13 For every one whosoever, who shall call on the name of the Lord, shall be saved.”
