  • The Fear of Death
The fear of death can steal the joy of our salvation. The words “Fear not” appears in the Bible 365 times. In the world today many are fearful of the reality of death. God desires for each believer to conquer this fear by depending totally on our Saviour and Lord, Jesus Christ. In Christ, we are able to overcome the fear of death and by faith in Him, our hearts are filled with joy.
John 6:15-21 “15 Jesus therefore knowing that they were going to come and seize him, that they might make [him] king, departed again to the mountain himself alone.16 But when evening was come, his disciples went down to the sea,17 and having gone on board ship, they went over the sea to Capernaum. And it had already become dark, and Jesus had not come to them,18 and the sea was agitated by a strong wind blowing.
19 Having rowed then about twenty-five or thirty stadia, they see Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the ship; and they were frightened.20 But he says to them, It is I: be not afraid.21 They were willing therefore to receive him into the ship; and immediately the ship was at the land to which they went.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “5 Confide in Jehovah with all thy heart, and lean not unto thine own intelligence;6 in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he will make plain thy paths.”
Psalm 16:11 “Thou wilt make known to me the path of life: thy countenance is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.”
Psalms 23:4 “4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.”
Psalms 18:16-17 “16 He reached forth from above, he took me, he drew me out of great waters:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me; for they were mightier than I.”
Psalms 46:1-3 “God is our refuge and strength, a help in distresses, very readily found.2 Therefore will we not fear though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the heart of the seas;3 Though the waters thereof roar [and] foam, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.”
Psalm 27:1 “Jehovah is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Jehovah is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Hebrews 2:14-15 “14 Since therefore the children partake of blood and flesh, he also, in like manner, took part in the same, that through death he might annul him who has the might of death, that is, the devil; 15 and might set free all those who through fear of death through the whole of their life were subject to bondage.”
Isaiah 41:13 “13 For I, Jehovah, thy God, hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”
Romans 6:3-4 “3 Are you ignorant that we, as many as have been baptised unto Christ Jesus, have been baptised unto his death?4 We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life.”
Colossians 3:1-4 “If therefore ye have been raised with the Christ, seek the things [which are] above, where the Christ is, sitting at [the] right hand of God:2 have your mind on the things [that are] above, not on the things [that are] on the earth;3 for ye have died, and your life is hid with the Christ in God.4 When the Christ is manifested who [is] our life, then shall *ye* also be manifested with him in glory.”

  • The Lord is Good and Ready to Forgive
If we take a look around us today or even back in history we see one big barrier separating us from a holy and righteous God. That barrier is “SIN”. This sin barrier is too much for us to take on ourselves. In fact, there is no way we can remove it on our own but God in love has provided a Saviour in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is good and He is ready to forgive you of your sins.
Psalm 86:5 “For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, and art of great loving-kindness unto all that call upon thee.”
Isaiah 55:6-7 “6 Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
Colossians 1:12-14 “12 giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit for sharing the portion of the saints in light,13 who has delivered us from the authority of darkness, and translated [us] into the kingdom of the Son of his love:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins;”

  • The Man Christ Jesus
God has provided a wonderful Saviour in the Gospel, the man Christ Jesus. Over 2000 years ago, the Lord Jesus came into this world to save you from your sins. The scriptures tell us that our sins have separated us far from God but there is hope found in the man Christ Jesus.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Isaiah 32:1-2 “Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.2 And a man shall be as a hiding-place from the wind, and a covert from the storm; as brooks of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a thirsty land.”
John 19:1-5 “Then Pilate therefore took Jesus and scourged [him].2 And the soldiers having plaited a crown of thorns put it on his head, and put a purple robe on him,3 and came to him and said, Hail, king of the Jews! and gave him blows on the face.
4 And Pilate went out again and says to them, Lo, I bring him out to you, that ye may know that I find in him no fault whatever.5 (Jesus therefore went forth without, wearing the crown of thorn, and the purple robe.) And he says to them, Behold the man!”
1 Timothy 2:3-4 “our Saviour God,4 who desires that all men should be saved and come to [the] knowledge of [the] truth.5 For God is one, and [the] mediator of God and men one, [the] man Christ Jesus,”
2 Thessalonians 2:1-8 “Now we beg you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to him,2 that ye be not soon shaken in mind, nor troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as [if it were] by us, as that the day of the Lord is present.
3 Let not any one deceive you in any manner, because [it will not be] unless the apostasy have first come, and the man of sin have been revealed, the son of perdition;4 who opposes and exalts himself on high against all called God, or object of veneration; so that he himself sits down in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.5 Do ye not remember that, being yet with you, I said these things to you?
6 And now ye know that which restrains, that he should be revealed in his own time.7 For the mystery of lawlessness already works; only [there is] he who restrains now until he be gone,8 and then the lawless one shall be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus shall consume with the breath of his mouth, and shall annul by the appearing of his coming;”

  • A New Heart
The Bible tells us that the human heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. This is a result of sin coming into the world after the devil tempted Adam and Eve. The Good news in the Gospel is that God desires to give you a new heart. Over 2000 years ago, Jesus came into the world to save sinners who died at Calvery cross to redeem us to God.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
John 3:1-17 “But there was a man from among the Pharisees, his name Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews;2 he came to him by night, and said to him, Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God, for none can do these signs that thou doest unless God be with him.
3 Jesus answered and said to him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born anew he cannot see the kingdom of God.4 Nicodemus says to him, How can a man be born being old? can he enter a second time into the womb of his mother and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except any one be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.7 Do not wonder that I said to thee, It is needful that *ye* should be born anew.”
Ezekiel 36:26-28 “And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and keep mine ordinances, and ye shall do them.28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.”
2 Corinthians 5:17 “17 So if any one [be] in Christ, [there is] a new creation; the old things have passed away; behold all things have become new:”
Romans 6:4 “We have been buried therefore with him by baptism unto death, in order that, even as Christ has been raised up from among [the] dead by the glory of the Father, so *we* also should walk in newness of life.”
Isaiah 43:18-19 “Remember not the former things, neither consider the ancient things:19 behold, I do a new thing; now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the waste.”
Hebrews 9:15 “And for this reason he is mediator of a new covenant, so that, death having taken place for redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, the called might receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.”
2 Corinthians 3:6 “who has also made us competent, [as] ministers of [the] new covenant; not of letter, but of spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit quickens.”
John 13:34-35 “A new commandment I give to you, that ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.35 By this shall all know that ye are disciples of mine, if ye have love amongst yourselves.”
Revelation 21:1-3 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea exists no more.2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of the heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice out of the heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and he shall tabernacle with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their God.”

  • None but Christ can Satisfy
Jesus can bring satisfaction to your thirsty soul. Many people today fill their lives with many possessions with the objective to find peace and satisfaction. The Bible tells us that the Lord Jesus is the living water who can quench the thirsty soul. There is nothing in this world that can bring satisfaction to your soul none but Christ can satisfy.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Jeremiah 2:13 “13 For my people have committed two evils: they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, to hew them out cisterns, broken cisterns that hold no water.”

  • The Word Became Flesh
Jesus came into the world to save sinners. The scriptures tell us that The Word Became Flesh and dwelt among us. In this Gospel preaching, you will hear of what Jesus has done to bring hope to mankind.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
John 1:1-14 “1 In [the] beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 *He* was in the beginning with God.3 All things received being through him, and without him not one [thing] received being which has received being.4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.5 And the light appears in darkness, and the darkness apprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, his name John.7 He came for witness, that he might witness concerning the light, that all might believe through him.8 *He* was not the light, but that he might witness concerning the light.
    9 The true light was that which, coming into the world, lightens every man.10 He was in the world, and the world had [its] being through him, and the world knew him not.11 He came to his own, and his own received him not;
12 but as many as received him, to them gave he [the] right to be children of God, to those that believe on his name;13 who have been born, not of blood, nor of flesh’s will, nor of man’s will, but of God.14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us (and we have contemplated his glory, a glory as of an only-begotten with a father), full of grace and truth;”
    John 1:29-34 “29 On the morrow he sees Jesus coming to him, and says, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.30 He it is of whom I said, A man comes after me who takes a place before me, because he *was* before me;
31 and I knew him not; but that he might be manifested to Israel, therefore have I come baptising with water.32 And John bore witness, saying, I beheld the Spirit descending as a dove from heaven, and it abode upon him.33 And I knew him not; but he who sent me to baptise with water, *he* said to me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending and abiding on him, he it is who baptises with [the] Holy Spirit.34 And I have seen and borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

  • The Sign of Immanuel
God has given a sign of Immanuel in the Gospel. The Bible tells us that when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. God has provided full and free salvation in the person of the Lord Jesus. Over 200o years ago, Jesus went to Calvery’s cross where he laid down his life that we may be saved.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Isaiah 7:14 “14 Therefore will the Lord himself give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and shall bring forth a son, and call his name Immanuel.”
Isaiah 9:6-7 “6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name is called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace.7 Of the increase of his government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with judgment and with righteousness, from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of Jehovah of hosts will perform this.”
Matthew 1:18-25 “18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was thus: His mother, Mary, that is, having been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found to be with child of [the] Holy Spirit.
19 But Joseph, her husband, being [a] righteous [man], and unwilling to expose her publicly, purposed to have put her away secretly;20 but while he pondered on these things, behold, an angel of [the] Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, fear not to take to [thee] Mary, thy wife, for that which is begotten in her is of [the] Holy Spirit.
21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus, for *he* shall save his people from their sins.22 Now all this came to pass that that might be fulfilled which was spoken by [the] Lord, through the prophet, saying,23 Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which is, being interpreted, ‘God with us.’
24 But Joseph, having awoke up from his sleep, did as the angel of [the] Lord had enjoined him, and took to [him] his wife,25 and knew her not until she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.”

  • The Good News of Jesus Christ
The word Gospel means good news. The most important message you need to hear is the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that in our sins we have fallen far from God but there is a real hope presented for us in the Gospel. Over 200o years ago, Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Acts 17:16 “16 But in Athens, while Paul was waiting for them, his spirit was painfully excited in him seeing the city given up to idolatry.”
Acts 17:18 “18 But some also of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers attacked him. And some said, What would this chatterer say? and some, He seems to be an announcer of foreign demons, because he announced the glad tidings of Jesus and the resurrection [to them].”
Acts 17:21-23 “21 Now all [the] Athenians and the strangers sojourning there spent their time in nothing else than to tell and to hear the news.
22 And Paul standing in the midst of Areopagus said, Athenians, in every way I see you given up to demon worship;23 for, passing through and beholding your shrines, I found also an altar on which was inscribed, To the unknown God. Whom therefore ye reverence, not knowing [him], him I announce to you.”
Acts 17:30-31 “30 God therefore, having overlooked the times of ignorance, now enjoins men that they shall all everywhere repent,31 because he has set a day in which he is going to judge the habitable earth in righteousness by [the] man whom he has appointed, giving the proof [of it] to all [in] having raised him from among [the] dead.”

  • Do you believe in God?
Listen to this Gospel preaching and discover what God has done through the person of Jesus Christ to save sinners. Many today will think the Gospel message is foolishness but the scriptures tell us it is God’s power to salvation.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
    Psalms 14:1-3
To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David.                                                                                     “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth good.2 Jehovah looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.3 They have all gone aside, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one.”
    Psalms 14:7
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When Jehovah turneth again the captivity of his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice.”
1 Corinthians 1:18-25 “For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness, but to us that are saved it is God’s power.19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and set aside the understanding of the understanding ones.
20 Where [is the] wise? where scribe? where disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom has not known God, God has been pleased by the foolishness of the preaching to save those that believe.22 Since Jews indeed ask for signs, and Greeks seek wisdom;23 but *we* preach Christ crucified, to Jews an offence, and to nations foolishness;24 but to those that [are] called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ God’s power and God’s wisdom.25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
John 1:18 “18 No one has seen God at any time; the only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, *he* hath declared [him].”
Romans 3:22-25 “for there is no difference;23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;24 being justified freely by his grace through the redemption which [is] in Christ Jesus;25 whom God has set forth a mercy-seat, through faith in his blood”
