  • The Lamb
If you read the Old Testament you will notice passages that point to the work and person of the Lord Jesus Christ. In this Gospel preaching, you will hear of the Passover lamb which points to Jesus and the work he completed at Calvary.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Exodus 12:1-14 “12 And Jehovah spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.3 Speak unto all the assembly of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month let them take themselves each a lamb, for a father’s house, a lamb for a house.
4 And if the household be too small for a lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take [it] according to the number of the souls; each according to [the measure] of his eating shall ye count for the lamb.5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a yearling male; ye shall take [it] from the sheep, or from the goats.
6 And ye shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month; and the whole congregation of the assembly of Israel shall kill it between the two evenings.7 And they shall take of the blood, and put [it] on the two door-posts and on the lintel of the houses in which they eat it.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; with bitter [herbs] shall they eat it.9 Ye shall eat none of it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roast with fire; its head with its legs and with its in-wards.10 And ye shall let none of it remain until the morning; and what remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
11 And thus shall ye eat it: your loins shall be girded, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste; it is Jehovah’s passover.12 And I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am Jehovah.
13 And the blood shall be for you as a sign on the houses in which ye are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be among you for destruction, when I smite the land of Egypt.14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and ye shall celebrate it [as] a feast to Jehovah; throughout your generations [as] an ordinance for ever shall ye celebrate it.”

  • God has Given us Jesus
God has provided a wonderful Saviour, Jesus Christ. The gift of Salvation through Jesus Christ is the theme of the Gospel invitation. The Bible tells us that our sins have separated us from God’s holy presence but the good of the Gospel is there is now a way of salvation through Jesus.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation

  • “Seek the things which are above”
Each Christian should seek the things which are above. where the Christ is. In this Gospel preaching, you will learn from the book of the Colossians what Jesus has done to bring you into Salvation.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Colossians 3:1-8 “If therefore ye have been raised with the Christ, seek the things [which are] above, where the Christ is, sitting at [the] right hand of God:2 have your mind on the things [that are] above, not on the things [that are] on the earth;3 for ye have died, and your life is hid with the Christ in God.
4 When the Christ is manifested who [is] our life, then shall *ye* also be manifested with him in glory.5 Put to death therefore your members which [are] upon the earth, fornication, uncleanness, vile passions, evil lust, and unbridled desire, which is idolatry.6 On account of which things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.7 In which *ye* also once walked when ye lived in these things.8 But now, put off, *ye* also, all [these] things, wrath, anger, malice, blasphemy, vile language out of your mouth.”

  • Heaven’s Census
Today in the United Kingdom is Census day 2021 where everyone in the land is counted. Have you been written in Heaven’s census, the book of life? Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Revelation 21:23-27 “23 And the city has no need of the sun nor of the moon, that they should shine for it; for the glory of God has enlightened it, and the lamp thereof [is] the Lamb.
24 And the nations shall walk by its light; and the kings of the earth bring their glory to it.25 And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations to it.27 And nothing common, nor that maketh an abomination and a lie, shall at all enter into it; but those only who [are] written in the book of life of the Lamb.”
Hebews 12:22-24 “22 but ye have come to mount Zion; and to [the] city of [the] living God, heavenly Jerusalem; and to myriads of angels,
23 the universal gathering; and to [the] assembly of the firstborn [who are] registered in heaven; and to God, judge of all; and to [the] spirits of just [men] made perfect;24 and to Jesus, mediator of a new covenant; and to [the] blood of sprinkling, speaking better than Abel.”

  • God is Good
God is Good. King David tells us in the Psalms that God is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth. The Gospel is preached to announce the good news that Jesus came into the world to save sinners.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Psalm 86:15 “But thou, Lord, art a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in goodness and truth.”
Psalm 14:1-3 “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, they have done abominable works: there is none that doeth good.2 Jehovah looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.3 They have all gone aside, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one.”
Acts 10:38 “38 Jesus who [was] of Nazareth: how God anointed him with [the] Holy Spirit and with power; who went through [all quarters] doing good, and healing all that were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.”
Romans 2:4 “or despisest thou the riches of his goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads thee to repentance?”
Philippians 2:13 “for it is God who works in you both the willing and the working according to [his] good pleasure.”

  • Wake Up
The coming of Jesus is very near. God’s word tells us that the coming of the Lord is the next great event to take place. The Gospel is preached as a warning to awaken you out of your life of sin to come to Jesus, the Saviour of sinners.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
2 Peter 3:1-13 “3 This, a second letter, beloved, I already write to you, in [both] which I stir up, in the way of putting you in remembrance, your pure mind,2 to be mindful of the words spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of the Lord and Saviour by your apostles;3 knowing this first, that there shall come at [the] close of the days mockers with mocking, walking according to their own lusts,4 and saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for from the time the fathers fell asleep all things remain thus from [the] beginning of [the] creation.
5 For this is hidden from them through their own wilfulness, that heavens were of old, and an earth, having its subsistence out of water and in water, by the word of God,6 through which [waters] the then world, deluged with water, perished.7 But the present heavens and the earth by his word are laid up in store, kept for fire unto a day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men.8 But let not this one thing be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with [the] Lord [is] as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.9 [The] Lord does not delay his promise, as some account of delay, but is longsuffering towards you, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of [the] Lord will come as a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and [the] elements, burning with heat, shall be dissolved, and [the] earth and the works in it shall be burnt up.11 All these things then being to be dissolved, what ought ye to be in holy conversation and godliness,12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, by reason of which [the] heavens, being on fire, shall be dissolved, and [the] elements, burning with heat, shall melt?13 But, according to his promise, we wait for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness.”

  • What is Truth?
Pilate asked Jesus “What is Truth?” as he stood in the courtroom. This is a question many people throughout history have asked at some point in their lives. In this Gospel preaching, you will hear about the Lord Jesus as the way the truth and the life.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
John 18:33-40 “33 Pilate therefore entered again into the praetorium and called Jesus, and said to him, Thou art the king of the Jews?34 Jesus answered [him], Dost thou say this of thyself, or have others said it to thee concerning me?
35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Thy nation and the chief priests have delivered thee up to me: what hast thou done?36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my servants had fought that I might not be delivered up to the Jews; but now my kingdom is not from hence.37 Pilate therefore said to him, Thou art then a king? Jesus answered, Thou sayest [it], that I am a king. I have been born for this, and for this I have come into the world, that I might bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.38 Pilate says to him, What is truth? And having said this he went out again to the Jews, and says to them, I find no fault whatever in him.“
John 14:1-6 “14 Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe on God, believe also on me.2 In my Father’s house there are many abodes; were it not so, I had told you: for I go to prepare you a place;3 and if I go and shall prepare you a place, I am coming again and shall receive you to myself, that where I am ye also may be.4 And ye know where I go, and ye know the way.
5 Thomas says to him, Lord, we know not where thou goest, and how can we know the way?6 Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father unless by me.”
John 8:28-36 “28 Jesus therefore said to them, When ye shall have lifted up the Son of man, then ye shall know that I am [he], and [that] I do nothing of myself, but as the Father has taught me I speak these things.
29 And he that has sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, because I do always the things that are pleasing to him.30 As he spoke these things many believed on him.31 Jesus therefore said to the Jews who believed him, If ye abide in my word, ye are truly my disciples;32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.
33 They answered him, We are Abraham’s seed, and have never been under bondage to any one; how sayest thou, Ye shall become free?34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say to you, Every one that practises sin is the bondman of sin.35 Now the bondman abides not in the house for ever: the son abides for ever.36 If therefore the Son shall set you free, ye shall be really free.”
    John 16:7-14 “7 But I say the truth to you, It is profitable for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go I will send him to you.8 And having come, he will bring demonstration to the world, of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:9 of sin, because they do not believe on me;
10 of righteousness, because I go away to [my] Father, and ye behold me no longer;11 of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.12 I have yet many things to say to you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 But when *he* is come, the Spirit of truth, he shall guide you into all the truth: for he shall not speak from himself; but whatsoever he shall hear he shall speak; and he will announce to you what is coming.14 He shall glorify me, for he shall receive of mine and shall announce [it] to you.”

  • “Jesus Christ and him crucified”
In this Gospel preaching, you will hear about the Lord Jesus and the work he completed at Calvary’s cross to redeem sinful man.
    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
1 Corinthians 2:1-2  “And *I*, when I came to you, brethren, came not in excellency of word, or wisdom, announcing to you the testimony of God.2 For I did not judge [it well] to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and *him* crucified.”
1 Corinthians 15:1-14 “But I make known to you, brethren, the glad tidings which I announced to you, which also ye received, in which also ye stand,2 by which also ye are saved, (if ye hold fast the word which I announced to you as the glad tidings,) unless indeed ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you, in the first place, what also I had received, that Christ died for our sins, according to the scriptures;4 and that he was buried; and that he was raised the third day, according to the scriptures;5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
6 Then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the most remain until now, but some also have fallen asleep.7 Then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;8 and last of all, as to an abortion, he appeared to *me* also.9 For *I* am the least of the apostles, who am not fit to be called apostle, because I have persecuted the assembly of God.
10 But by God’s grace I am what I am; and his grace, which [was] towards me, has not been vain; but I have laboured more abundantly than they all, but not *I*, but the grace of God which [was] with me.11 Whether, therefore, I or they, thus we preach, and thus ye have believed.12 Now if Christ is preached that he is raised from among [the] dead, how say some among you that there is not a resurrection of [those that are] dead?13 But if there is not a resurrection of [those that are] dead, neither is Christ raised:14 but if Christ is not raised, then, indeed, vain also [is] our preaching, and vain also your faith.”

  • Burdens Completely Lifted
The burdens of sin are completely lifted at Calvery. The Gospel is preached to present a Saviour for sinners to you, the Lord Jesus Christ who came into this world to redeem fallen man.

    Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Matthew 11:25-30 “25 At that time, Jesus answering said, I praise thee, Father, Lord of the heaven and of the earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes.26 Yea, Father, for thus has it been well-pleasing in thy sight.
27 All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son but the Father, nor does any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son may be pleased to reveal [him].28 Come to me, all ye who labour and are burdened, and *I* will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls;30 for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Matthew 4:12-17 “12 But having heard that John was delivered up, he departed into Galilee:13 and having left Nazareth, he went and dwelt at Capernaum, which is on the sea-side in the borders of Zabulon and Nepthalim,
14 that that might be fulfilled which was spoken through Esaias the prophet, saying,15 Land of Zabulon and land of Nepthalim, way of [the] sea beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations:16 —the people sitting in darkness has seen a great light, and to those sitting in [the] country and shadow of death, to them has light sprung up.17 From that time began Jesus to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens has drawn nigh.”

The greatest rescue operation that has ever been affected is the rescuing of mankind from the consequences of sin. The Bible tells us that God sent His own Son into the world to save sinners. Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation
Luke 4:18-19 “18 [The] Spirit of [the] Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach glad tidings to [the] poor; he has sent me to preach to captives deliverance, and to [the] blind sight, to send forth [the] crushed delivered,19 to preach [the] acceptable year of [the] Lord.”
Colossians 1:12-14 “2 giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit for sharing the portion of the saints in light,13 who has delivered us from the authority of darkness, and translated [us] into the kingdom of the Son of his love:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins”
