A Call To Come Back Home!
Even at this point in many of our lives we have driven ourselves away from God.
Currently, in the world we find ourselves where a lot of things are welcomed, most especially to destroy us with its pleasures and pain, there is a need for us to stand up from our ashes and realized how far we've come alone.
The narrative of the prodigal son illustrates timelessly of the infinite Love of God for mankind despite their evil ways and poor decisions that always, in most cases, leads to destruction.
He rose up one morning and felt like it was a fine time for him to explore and this couldn't be done without taking his own share of his father's wealth. The father gave him the time, shares and whatever he requested...he joyfully, in his ignorance left to far away land to lavish all his possessions.
Nevertheless, he quickly realized how stupid and shortsighted his decision was to leave the splendor in his father's house thus, the need to come back home.
The pleasure and pressure of this world has caused so many especially, young adults to equally demands their freedom as possessions from God to get enslaved with the empty promises of the devil: the gods of this age, its power,fame and pleasures. But in their shortest time of having what they requested, comes regret. Of course, we are humans and we in one way or another deviated from Home (God) here is a call from God for you who has gone far, too far to come back home for there is a feast awaiting you.
Check yourself and ponder on these questions;
1. Do I really understand the DECISIONS I have made?
2. What is the current state of my relationship with God?
3. Will I be accepted if I go back to Him?
4. What is the cost of Him receiving me again?
Christ says; "Come unto me and there's an assurance of rest, hope, peace, joy and a purpose for living."
