AND GOD REMEMBERED THE BARREN!

What an awesome account to strengthen the faith of the Fainthearted. A message of a dead hope restored to life. This situation prove God to be Master over nature and time.... Hannah the wife of Elkanah was in a daisy situation that instead of weighing her down, it rather serves as an opportunity to express her faith in God by seeking His face. Even when Elkanah was trying all he could just to make her forget about her barren state, she was focused still.
Even when she was called a drunkard by the priest Eli, she was still persistent in her petition... she stroke an imprint on the pages of faith and resilience.
The LORD saw from heaven, and I want to believe the LORD said in His heart; "O what faith!"
Did the LORD remembered her? O YES! He did remembered her.
Did the LORD turn her barrenness to fruitfulness? For sure. And Hannah sang the song; There is none like Thee O LORD!
Did she allowed Eli's perception of drunkardness caused her trouble? No! For the LORD remembered her.
Barrenness here does not only constitutes pregnancy. It can be your zeal for evangelism that is barren. Your business, marriages, academics etc. But this I assure you this morning, that whatsoever in your life that is experiencing barrenness, I pray that God cause those barren situations in our lives to be fruitful in Christ gracious name, Amen.
