Preaching In Youth Ministry

Far too often, preachers focus too much on the CONTENT of the sermon, and not enough time on the DELIVERY. This is not to say that content is not important, it absolutely is! We, as preachers, are handling the Word of God. Care for our content must be absolutely crucial. However, we can't pretend that delivery doesn't matter. You can have the best content in the world, but how you deliver that content has drastic implications for how the listener receives it. That's what this episode is all about as we are diving into four considerations in sermon delivery.

As a youth pastor, it is a blessing and a curse that you often have the flexibility to create and manage your own schedule. With preaching needing to be a priority of the pastor, managing your schedule appropriately and efficiently to prepare the best for your sermon is so important.
