If God created man male and female on the sixth day, where does a second creation of man come from? Ask why God takes both accounts up again here and says it once more, in the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him. Ask what is left of a doctrine that needs two Adams once those words stand. Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
