Upon entering the new year, It may be time for many individuals to make peace with their past. Making such peace and moving forward may sound easier than what some may think can possibly be done. With that being said it may be time to let somethings go. A way to start doing so can be by forgiving yourself. Self forgiveness is important to your mental health as well as it can set one free to enjoy life and become a happier person as well as help one be able to engage in healthy relationships with others.

Many individuals may have asked for forgiveness from others or may have perhaps forgiven others. However, what about forgiving yourself? Being able to forgive yourself requires empathy, compassion, kindness and understanding. One must also practice and accept that forgiveness is a choice.

What is stopping you from letting it go? Stop punishing yourself. Also what does God say about forgiving yourself? Stop punishing yourself and learn how to set yourself free. Are you considered to be a social butterfly? Do you get along well with others? Do you find it easy or difficult to communicate with others? As a child many indiviuals were taught how to develop social skills first from their parents or other family members. Such later transitioned into the school systems and communities. However many indivduals struggle with social skills. So how can one teach what they don't know or understand? It may be time to do better or perhaps develop skills and resources.

How can one improve their social skills or perhaps make sure that they are teaching their children or love ones the importance of social skills? Demons can be a considered a metaphor. Demons can be something that can keep one awake at nigh as such can remind one of an embarrassing moment or ongoing worry. A Demon can whisper how pathetic one is that has not accomplished what one or another have hoped for them. These demons can look like pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath or sloth just to name a few. They are powerful and can impact an individual in ways which makes them personal . When one fight or repress one's inner demon one can actually gain and develop resistance. 

With 2021 having only a few days left it may be time to address one's inner or personal demons before we carry them over into the new year. The holidays are approaching soon. I am aware that now all families will be celebrating the holidays as they may have in the past. There may also have been some changes made within the family structure from the year before. Also, in some cases many individuals have been dealing with such either successfully or unsuccessfully. Question is how do blended families celebrate the holidays? As a child growing up such was interesting within my family. I tried to do thing differently when I became an adult.
