The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), formerly called the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) should not be seen as documents too voluminous to be comprehended or official papers meant for the file cabinets in government offices. We should own it and live it. We should understand it and find a way to develop (in addition to government effort) navigating through the goals because they are in truth, a part of our lives. Listen, whether you're Christian or Moslem, Hindu or Buddhist, if true religion preaches goodness and love, then the SDGs certainly fall into the jurisdiction of your belief. It is part of the works (of charity) you should do to accompany your Faith... Learn with an open mind and do the Good you need to do... So here we goooo! Valentine's Day? Yes please...♥️♥️♥️♥️ A day for licentiousness? A day for lewdness? A day for utter disregard for self-control? Certainly not!😏😏😏😏 People talk about Love many times solely in the context of sex and this reoccurs thoroughly on Valentine's Day. This shouldn't be so though. Sex should come as a major topic within a marital relationship. For those of us unmarried, we need to sit back and re-examine how we rationalise and view Love generally and within the context of a relationship as well as sex. Love and sex are two different things and living with this conviction is sacrosanct. Sex, yes, when there are two married people, comes out (as it should) as one way to express this immense feeling of Love which they share. But sex as we have it presently, doesn't look this simple because many of us have chosen to explore it as the whole meaning of Love hence we get into a myriad of emotional, health and physical problems. We also experience unplanned pregnancies no matter the kind of sex or sexual activity we get involved in. We get rejected, desperate and depressed all because of our misgivings about sex. Love is much more profound and all encompassing. Love builds up with time and bonding. Love is Sacrifice which cannot be overemphasized... Find out more in this episode.
