Story Transcript:

Sl: Matej in Nika sta hodila po poti, ki je vodila do znamenitega Predjamskega gradu.
En: Matej and Nika were walking along the path leading to the famous Predjamski grad (Predjama Castle).

Sl: V dolini so se prebudile prve spomladanske cvetlice.
En: In the valley, the first spring flowers had awakened.

Sl: Narava se je počasi zbujala iz zimskega spanca.
En: Nature was slowly waking up from its winter sleep.

Sl: Hladen veter je pihal z vrha gore, a sončni žarki so že segrevali prebudljiva tla.
En: A cold wind was blowing from the mountain peak, but the sun's rays were already warming the awakening ground.

Sl: Pred njima se je dvigal grad, vklesan v skalo, kot stražar iz preteklosti, ki je varoval skrivnosti stoletij.
En: Before them rose the castle, carved into the rock like a sentinel from the past, guarding secrets of the centuries.

Sl: Matej je bil vesel.
En: Matej was happy.

Sl: Ljubil je zgodovino in želja, da bi razkril vse skrivnosti starega gradu, ga je gnala naprej.
En: He loved history, and the desire to uncover all the secrets of the old castle drove him forward.

Sl: Toda ni bil popolnoma prepričan o svojem zdravju.
En: But he wasn't entirely sure about his health.

En: He grew concerned when he felt a pain in his chest, but he didn't want to worry Nika.

En: When they reached the foot of the castle, Matej was breathing heavily.

Sl: Nika se je ustavila.
En: Nika stopped.

Sl: "Mogoče bi moral počivati, Matej," je rekla nežno.
En: "Maybe you should rest, Matej," she said gently.

Sl: Vendar je Matej le še bolj vneto nadaljeval.
En: However, Matej only became more eager to continue.

Sl: "Samo še malo, Nika.
En: "Just a little more, Nika.

Sl: Zgodovina me čaka," je rekel z nasmeškom.
En: History awaits me," he said with a smile.

Sl: Ko sta vstopila v hladne, kamnite hodnike, ki so razkrivali mistiko stare arhitekture, je Mateja premagala njegova želja.
En: As they entered the cold, stone corridors revealing the mystery of ancient architecture, Matej was overcome by his desire.

Sl: Hodila sta skozi ozke prehode, vendar je Matej sčasoma zadaj.
En: They walked through narrow passages, but eventually, Matej lagged behind.

En: With difficulty, she got him out into the fresh air.

Sl: Hladen veter mu je osvežil obraz.
En: The cold wind refreshed his face.

Sl: Matej je končno popustil.
En: Matej finally conceded.

Sl: "Strinjam se, Nika.
En: "I agree, Nika.

Sl: Rabim pomoč," je končno priznal z grenkobo zaradi izgubljenega dneva.
En: I need help," he finally admitted with bitterness over the lost day.

Sl: Pomagala mu je nazaj k avtu, kjer sta prvič po dolgem času resno govorila o zdravju.
En: She helped him back to the car, where they seriously talked about health for the first time in a long time.

Sl: Tam, pod veličastjem Predjamskega gradu, je Matej spoznal nekaj novega.
En: There, under the majesty of Predjamski grad (Predjama Castle), Matej realized something new.

Sl: Njegova ljubezen do zgodovine in dogodivščin bo vedno del njega, vendar je zdaj vedel, da mora poslušati svoje telo.
En: His love for history and adventure would always be a part of him, but now he knew he needed to listen to his body.

Sl: Z Nikinim objemom in trdno odločenostjo v srcu je Matej ugotovil, da ni nič narobe, če si vzame čas za počitek.
En: With Nika's embrace and a firm determination in his heart, Matej realized that there's nothing wrong with taking time to rest.

Sl: V prihodnje bo svoje raziskovanje uravnotežil z zdravjem.
En: In the future, he would balance his explorations with his health.

Sl: In tako je Predjamski grad postal ne le spomin na zgodovino, ampak tudi na naučeno lekcijo.
