This episode marks the first interview for this podcast (finally). We hear from one of my older brothers, Tyler, and his wife and my now-sister-in-law, Leah. I asked Tyler and Leah about a lot of things, but mainly they talk about their experiences with the wedding and about their relationship, and relationships more broadly.

Oops, this is actually episode 11 (not 12). Anyway, we all know we're stuck in algorithms and generally on our phones too much, but do we truly realize how all this media consumption is affecting our well-being? I think a great way to recharge our minds and spirits is to reduce our overall media consumption and change the type of media we consume. The world is totally messed up, but instead of constantly reminding ourselves of this, what if we try unplugging from the chaos and reconnecting with our genuine human experiences. It's worth a shot.

Quote from episode: "Cancel Culture is a seemingly convenient and simple solution to social problems, but the only simple thing about cancel culture is that it doesn't often work because social problems aren't simple. We cannot ignore or suppress the things in life that we don't want to deal with, as it will surely lead to disaster (or spending a night in the hospital or jail). We have to do the work; the only way out is through.
