Coming off a PIAA 4A State Championship, Coach Gabe Infante's Hawks opened up the 2014 season against 12-time Illinois State Champions Chicago Mt. Carmel. Olamide Zaccheaus and John Reid lead the day for the Hawks with a 38-yard/50-yard touchdown and six catches, 116-yards and two touchdowns respectfully. A missed extra point  by the Caravan secured the 28-27 win for the Hawks at Toyota Park on Sun. August 31.
