Mark 11 begins with the arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem at the begging of what is known as “Passion Week.” Jesus in fulfillment of prophecy enters the Holy City riding on a donkey and being celebrated with shouts of Hosanna, and people placing their coats or palm branches down in his path, as they celebrated him as the coming king and promised Messaiah.Today we too are to make preparations for the returning King Jesus and we see in this passage how we are to prepare for His coming.
