Matthew 25:14-30

As Christians, God calls each of us to different tasks in service to Him and the Kingdom of God. We are all different members of one body, and we need each member.

Our Primary purpose in life is to worship God and glorify him in all we do.

In doing so we are to grow in our walk with God and point others to God with our walk and with our words, leading people to the cross for Salvation, and helping them all the things that Christ has taught us.

Our desire must be to do our best in fulfilling the purpose and will of God in our lives, so that like Paul in II Timothy 4:7 - we might be able to say, I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.

And in doing so we will one day hear from our King: Well done good and faithful servant.

When God doesn’t react or respond to your efforts the way you think He will or should, how will you respond?

Join us as we learn from the story of Cain and how His reaction to God defined His life and impacted the generations to follow.

When considering what resolutions you will make or what direction you will go in 2026, what or who do you consider. In this message from Genesis we see that God has made everything good for the benefit of man. Perhaps as we enter the new year, we should seek God's wisdom as we begin the 2026 journey.

But we often forget to realize that Mary and the others surrounding the birth of Christ, were not so different than us today.

The message delivered regarding the Birth of Christ requires a response from those who hear it.

The shepherds demonstrate for the rest of us a pattern we should all follow when it comes to the Hope and Joy of Christmas.

Part 4 of "While You are Waiting" is the conclusion of our series on the mindset/mentality we should have until God calls us home.

Once we are saved we are to live the rest of our lives Worshipping and following God and the purposes He has for you life.

Peter shares for attitudes that we are to have in our Christ like mindset, while we are waiting for God to call us home.

This week we focus on verses 8-11 and the attitude of Passionate love we are to have for our fellow believers.

Peter understood that as Christians we are longing for Heaven but while we are still here we have a purpose to fulfill, and an attitude that does not lead us to just hold on til Jesus comes to take us home. Time marches on and our time is short in this world, whether it be that our life is but a vapor in the reality of eternity, or the soon coming of Jesus and the end of the age.

Jesus is coming soon, and the definition of soon, is different for us than it is for God.

No matter how long we have, the fact remains our time is limited.

Peter understood his life was soon coming to an end, because of the prophecy of Jesus regarding his eventual martyrdom.

Because of this awareness, and the understanding that after we turn to Christ, He leaves us here for a purpose before calling us home when our purpose on earth is complete.

Until that time we are to make the most of the time we have.

Peter tells us the mindset and attitude we must have while we are waiting for our time on earth to end.
